Senior People Change Partner

Salary: National - up to £85,000 / London – up to £110,000

We are looking for a Senior People Change Partner to be responsible for delivering strategic business outcomes through brilliant People change on a wide variety of initiatives across the Aviva business. Bringing agility and pace to approach and delivery through your change expertise and experience, together with your HR knowledge.

A bit about the job:

The successful individual will provide specialist change consultancy support on behalf of Heads of People and People Directors, working alongside senior leaders in the business to ensure people change and transformation activities are planned and executed smoothly to deliver strategic business outcomes.

You will be part of an agile centralised consultancy team, aligned to lead on one or several people change initiatives, working within any part of the business on varied activity.  This could be leading on one or more standalone projects or large transformation programmes.   

Working directly with business leaders and the broader People Team you will determine the end-to-end people change journey, including scoping, planning, consultation, implementation, embedding the changes and tracking benefits on initiatives such as organisational restructuring, organisation design, M&A, TUPE, culture change and workforce transformation.

Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role can be based on any of our UK sites.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience of Change Management within the People/HR function is essential, with a wider HR knowledge and awareness of the activities across the People function.
  • Ability to flex style, challenge and positively influence a variety of different stakeholders, across multiple levels of seniority.
  • Growth mindset and an ability to work in an environment where the work is not prescribed, working with stakeholders to define problems and outcomes, then driving the delivery at pace.  
  • Act as a sole contributor as well as delivering through others, through great leadership skills and project management.
  • Financial Services experience would desirable.
